On Thursday 25th April, Laura Tanner was invited down to our local Witherslack Group School for students with ASD and SEMH to discuss how she became a business owner as part of the futures events organised by Elaine Jackson.
One of the many events LT Support are keen to support within our school’s, this one was a bit different for Laura as she wasn’t talking about recruitment for once but rather about entrepreneurship.
Was great to see the students engaged and thinking about what they would call their own company and what it would be about if they did start up.
There was a bit of a trend gong on with initials after they made the link to Laura’s name and the company name – and they liked the twist for how it also stands for Long Term!
Looking forward to our next event – catch us on the 30th April at the UEL Teacher Training Event!
