It may only be January but if you are completing your PGCE or BA in Education this year then you will be seeking a September position as an Early Career Teacher and you cannot get started soon enough.
LT Support have been placing ECT’s for many years and seen the benefit of early application.
Securing a role now means you can concentrate on your final placements and dissertations. It will also give you time to prepare and research ready to start your two year induction period.
What does being an ECT involve?
As an Early Career Teacher you will receive a package of training and support based on the Early Career Framework (ECF) and can now expect a minimum salary of £30,000 (Up to £36,745 in Inner London). With 10% less teaching time than an experienced teacher you will be supported by mentors and have time for planning, preparation and assessment.
