On Tuesday 28th February, Laura attended Abbs Cross Academy in Havering as a guest speaker to discuss recruitment as a future career for Year 11 students to consider.
Running three 20-25 minute sessions, students had the opportunity to ask questions and find out about apprenticeships, training, career development and of course prospective earnings as a recruitment consultant, compliance officer or resourcer.
LT Support enjoy collaborating with our partner schools at these events. With Laura and Charlie both entering recruitment at 19 after their A Levels, they both started their careers on the lower rungs of the recruitment ladder as Administrators and Trainee Recruitment Consultants. Over ten years later (ok more than double that for Laura!) they have worked across a spectrum of roles in Recruitment as Resourcer’s, Senior Consultants, Team Leaders, Managers, Senior Managers and Directors.
Showing young people that recruitment is in every industry, we look forward to when we can bring on our first apprentice and help develop the next generation of passionate recruiters.
